So you've been studying in the Big cities of London, Birmingham or Manchester or  you've been completing your doctorate in the ancient university towns of St. Andrews, Oxford, Cambridge or Canterbury or you had an Erasmus exchange in fantastical Edinburgh or groovy Glasgow?

Whichever it is - you now have to work out how to get all your stuff home to Germany.

Those heavy textbooks, ballgowns and dinner jackets, and those ticket stubs that are your mementos of your student years - all have to make their way over the channel.

But that doesn't have to be as difficult as you might think!

Here's the easy way to do it:

  1. Pack everything in strong cardboard boxes - don't make them too heavy to carry though!
  2. Book a Parcel Delivery - you can have your parcels collected or drop them off at a Drop Off point, whichever fits into your travel plans best.
  3. Travel home with very little baggage, saving you stress and back strain.
  4. Your parcels will arrive in Germany at about the same time as you do.

A 25kg parcel only costs about £25 (depending on the size of your boxes) so it's cheaper than that extra bag on the plane.

And when it's time to come back?

ust do the same again - you can send parcels from germany to the UK with Pharos too!

When sending a parcel from the UK with Pharos Parcel it is important to write only the 5 numbers in the postcode field - no letter D.
